To the Brave Hearts of the Border.

DEAR SOLDIERS,

I write this today with a heavy heart and a restless mind.  Amidst the uncertainty that lies ahead,  we pray that the soldiers who guard us remain safe and sound while they perform your glorious valour. For the widows of Pahalgam massacre, For every one of you carried out the operation, For every strategist who worried on this. Their silence is louder than any cry.

No words will ever be enough, your sacrifices, your loyalty, and your courage are written in the soil of this nation. You are the Real- life Heroes. Yes, we are immensely proud of our Army- the brave sons and daughters of India who stand unshaken at our borders, guarding our land with unmatched courage. There are no words that can truly capture the weight of what you brave soldiers endure in the line of duty. For which We bow in honour and gratitude. With deep respect, we salute the courage and commitment.  Justice is not served – it is remembered.

When I think about war what comes to my mind is young men at the border, they shatter families, rewrite destinies ,destroy livelihood. Wars normally rage on to reclaim territories,  to assert supremacy of religion,  language or identity. Ask the common man of any nationality, what they want ,and the answer is A peaceful life.

India is a peace loving country. However the question arises why warfare? We indeed crave peace, but to attain it , one must eliminate elements disrupting it. Similarly, to return peace we must eliminate what disturbs it. A nation has every right to defend itself. It should not be misunderstood as warmongering . If you hate war ,violence a d bloodshed, blame the countries that initiate it.

Operation Sindoor, is not just a name ,it is a statement. A symbol of every Indian women’s pride, every martyr’s sacrifice ,every drop of blood that screamed for Justice.

Nothing is painful than a thought of losing a solder, a pilot,  a son or daughter in uniform. We can rebuild hardware, we cannot replace lives , we pray for you. While we go about our daily lives, while we sleep under the safety of our roofs ,there are brave sons of India standing in Harsh weather on High peaks and in dangerous zones. Protecting our homeland. It is the people living in the conflicted area – the civilians and soldiers alike have paid the price of war with their lives,  homes and peace. But the challenges,  the sacrifices and the constant threat our soldiers face, there are no words that can truly capture.

Let us strive for a future, where our borders are guarded, yes, but our hearts are not burdened by war. You are standing tall against a terrorist nation- and the whole of India stands with you. You are not just fighting enemies, you are Protecting every Indian life, every home, every heartbeat. Your bravery is our pride, your strength is our shield.

To every soldier on the border- we are with you. To every martyrs family- we have not forgotten.

KODANDERA MAMATHA SUBBAIAH.
