Teachers and Students stung by bees

19 students and two teachers of a Government  Lower primary School, Bairambada, Ammatti Ontiyangadi, were recently attacked by bees, during school hours. It is reported that  a group of bees from near by  forest attacked students and teachers. When teacher and students tried to take shelter inside a classroom to escape from the bees, but it was of no avail.

M.S. Poovaiah, Gram Panchayat (GP) member after hearing this news rushed to the spot and immediately shifted the students and teachers to  Primary Health Center in Ontiyangadi. On the occasion Poovaiah also suffered bees stings.

M.S. Poovaiah’s timely help  to save the children and teachers and  the medical treatment given by the staff of  Primary Health Center have assisted in their recovery.  Forest Department officials and  Dinesh, GP President visited the spot.
