Sridevi Mudol, Child Development Planning Officer speaking after inaugurating workshop on “Girls’ Rights in Schools and Colleges” at Somwarpet Government PU college advised students that a creative attitude must be developed and they must always active in their life in one or the other way and she added that students should give importance to their studies.
Gender Specialist of the Women’s Empowerment Unit of the Department of Women and Child Development, SR Keshini speaking on the occasion informed about killing of female fetus, social protection, child protection and child marriage.

He also gave information on the Child Helpline-1 and Emergency Helpline. He also assured children about the help given by the department in an emergency event and advised college and school students to be very careful.
