C T Ravi’s case…Council Chairman succumbing to pressure

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) spokesperson M Lakshmana speaking to the media persons in Madikeri recently accused Chairman of Legislative Council Basavaraj Horatti of succumbing to pressure in MLC CT Ravi’s case.

He said that Horatti’s statement suggesting the case was resolved indicated that he was under pressure.

Responding to a query about naming roads, Lakshmana defended the decision to name a road after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah high- lighting that Siddaramaiah laid the foundation for many hospitals along the KRS Road in Mysuru.

There is nothing wrong in naming the road after someone who has contributed significantly,he added.
