Dr. Kannika Kaveramma of Kodagu selected as captain in AMC

Dr. Manduwaada Kannika Kaveramma, a young woman from Kodagu district, has been selected as a captain in the Indian Army’s Army Medical Corps (AMC).

An MBBS graduate, she was selected for the Army Medical Corps in last April. Now after training she has been appointed as captain. Out of more than 400 candidates, she has achieved this feat by ranking 57th and she is currently assigned to Chennai Military Hospital.

Kannika Kaveramma is the daughter of Manduwaada Suresh Changappa, a retired ACF, resident of Kodagargalli, Suntikoppa and Dhanumathi, who is employed in the DHO office in Mangalore.
