Dr. Pushpa Amarnath, Vice President of Mysore Division of Karnataka State Guarantee Schemes Implementation Authority speaking about the progress of five Guarantee Schemes of the State government inthe Madikeri Zilla Panchayat (ZP) Hall recently said that ‘Guarantee Implementation Awareness Week’ will be organized in the month of November in all the districts of Mysore division to further effectively implement the important programs of the Government. She also instructed that officials must visit every house hold to bring eligible individuals under the coverage of the schemes.
Speaking further she said that the government has implemented Graha Lakshmi, Graha Jyothi, Annabhagya, Shakti and Yuvanidhi programmes. BPL families should not be deprived of these guarantee schemes for any reason, guarantee schemes should reach all those who are eligible and added that 100% progress should be achieved in this regard.
Pushpa Amarnath also said that after bringing the guarantee implementation awareness week to the attention of the state president, it will be planning to organise the program across the state in the next few days.
She also informed that the government has formed a committee to oversee the implementation to ensure that every eligible beneficiary should receive the guarantee scheme, and officials must work in this regard.
She also said to the concerned officials regarding the reason why the guarantee plan has not been received yet to some beneficiary. Besides, there are some who do not have the necessary documents, the Dr. Pushpa Amarnath directed that the guarantee scheme should progress by getting information from such families and providing the necessary documents.
A training program regarding the implementation of guarantee schemes should be held in the first week of November and will be held weekly thereafter. She requested that the departmental officers at all levels should participate in this program and help to the success of the program.
Speaking on the occasion, Dharmaja Uthappa, the District President of the Guarantee Schemes Implementation Committee, said that the guarantee scheme should reach all the families who have BPL ration cards. Especially the tribal families in the district are desperate to get the government scheme. Adivasi people are deprived of government facilities and he gave a clear direction to the officials that the necessary documents should be provided to such adivasi families and the guarantee scheme should be made available compulsorily for them, he said.
