Dinesh Kariappa has been elected as the new President of Kodagu District Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Association and Naseer Ahmed has been elected as the General Secretary.
In the annual general meeting of the association held at the Fort Mercara Hotel, Madikeri, B R Nagendra Prasad, the outgoing president, handed over the charges to Dinesh Kariappa. Naseer Ahamed elected as General Secretary. Zaheer Ahamed M B elected as president of Madikeri, Manjunath B.C as president of Virajpet while Sunder was elected as president of Somwarpet and Ratheesh was elected as the Vice President of the Kushalanagar division unanimously.
In the meeting, Naseer Ahmed presented the report, Treasurer Bhaskar presented the accounts, Vice President Tahir gave information about the activities of the association.
Ganesh, owner of Hotel Chitra, Madikeri, a senior member of the Kodagu District Hotel Association, and B R Nagendra Prasad, the immediate past president of the association, were felicitated. Manjunath, vice-president of the association, proposed the vote of thanks,
