Principal of Sainik School Kodagu meets Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka

Col Amar Jeet Singh, Principal of Sainik School Kodagu, had the distinct honour of meeting Shri Thhawarchand Gehlot, Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, at the Raj Bhavan in Bangalore recently informed a press release from the Sainik School Kodagu. During the meeting, the principal provided a comprehensive update on the various training activities and the progress made by the school over the past year.

Col Amar Jeet Singh highlighted the training programmes being conducted at Sainik School Kodagu, especially the UPSC and SSB training provided to the cadets. The training which is meticulously designed to equip cadets with the necessary skills and knowledge would be a guiding force for them to successfully clear these competitive examinations. The Hon’ble Governor was also updated about the achievements of the school cadets. Till date around 36 cadets have joined Army, Navy, Airforce as officers since the inception of the school. 

The principal also apprised the Hon’ble Governor about the substantial augmentation of infrastructure at the school. This infrastructure development plays a crucial role in the overall growth and development of the cadets, ensuring they receive a well-rounded education and an enriching training experience.

The Hon’ble Governor expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the school in nurturing future leaders and commended the Principal and the faculty for their dedication to the cause of sending as many cadets as possible to the Indian Defence forces.
