Inflow increases at Harangi reservoir

Due to the continuous heavy rains in Kodagu district, the inflow to Harangi reservoir has risen significantly. The maximum storage level of the reservoir is 2,859 feet. Currently, the dam has reached the mark of 2,842.27 ft as on 03.07.2024. The inflow to the reservoir was 1649 cusecs. Outflow to the rivers was 200 cusecs as on 03-07-2024.

The NDRF team is kept on high alert. Bhagamandala in Madikeri taluk received 41.6 of rain during the 24 hours and the water level in Triveni Sangama in Bhagamandala has risen. There was an average rainfall of 18.08 mm in Madikeri and the surrounding regions.
