In a tragic accident that occurred between a private bus and a two-wheeler in which the two-wheeler rider died on the spot at Gaddehalla near Suntikoppa recently.
It is reported that the deceased is Lokesh (60), a resident of Pattemane, Gaddehalla. It is said that he was travelling on his two-wheeler towards Gaddehalla from Sunticoppa when rear-end of a private bus hit him. Due to the impact Lokesh fell on the road with his two-wheeler and died on the spot due to severe head injuries.
After receiving information, the Suntikoppa police reached the spot and seized the private bus and arrested the driver. A case has been registered and took further action.
The residents who were on the spot complained that the number of accidents on the highway turn of Gaddehalla is increasing day by day and requested the concerned officials and the police department to take appropriate action for safety of passengers.
