Program to Pay Tribute to Martyred Soldiers in Virajpet

The Virajpet No. 434th Ex-Servicemen Cooperative Society Limited will organize a program to pay tribute to martyrs at the Amar Jawan Pillar, State Bank Munga, Virajpet, on September 24 at 10.30 am.

A floral wreath will be offered at the memorial, with honours rendered by the District Armed Police Force, in the premises of the soldiers’ memorial pillar. Tributes will be paid to soldiers who laid down their lives for the safety of the motherland and to deceased ex-servicemen.

Olympian Lt. Col. Baleada Kalaiah Subramani, A.S. Ponnanna, MLA from the Virajpet Assembly Constituency and Legal Advisor to the Chief Minister, MLC Suja Kushalappa, Virajpet Tahsildar Praveen Kumar, DySP Mahesh Kumar S., Virajpet Municipality President Dechamma Kalappa, Virajpet Municipality Chief Officer Pattacheruvanda K. Nachappa, ex-servicemen, and others will participate. A felicitation program will also be held for donors at 11 am.
