Kodagu District Janapada Parishad President B. G. Ananthashayana and Janapada Dasara Convener Anil H. T. have informed that the Madikeri Dasara Cultural Committee will be organising the Annual Janapada Dasara on September 29, in association with the Kodagu Janapada Parishad.
On Monday, September 29, at 10 a.m., folk art exhibitions will be held at the KalasambhramVedike of Gandhi Maidan, Madikeri. A folk art exhibition and art procession will also take place on this occasion, according to a release from the Janapada Parishad.
As part of Janapada Dasara, Kodagu folk artists will be provided the opportunity to present a wide variety of folk art exhibitions. Folk art groups and artists of Kodagu can register their names by September 20 for the exhibitions they wish to present during the Folk Dasara.
Artists and art groups intending to participate should send their applications by September 20 to the President, Kodagu Janapada Parishad, c/o Shakti Daily, Industrial Estate, Madikeri – 571201.
