Coorg Public School Gonikoppal, emerged victorious in the CISCE zonal level inter school cricket tournament in u17 category, claiming the trophy with pride.
The tournament was held at Cavery College Gonikoppal and saw enthusiastic participation from leading ICSE and ISC schools across the region.
COPS team displayed remarkable consistency and skill throughout the tournament, defeating strong contenders in each round.
In the final match, Coorg Public School faced off against General Thimmaiah School, Madikeri in a high-pressure game.
Batting first, COPS team set a competitive total of 55 runs for 5 overs with Rahul Gowda scoring a brilliant 30 runs.
In response, the bowlers kept the pressure on, with Varun Gowda claiming 3 crucial wickets, helping to restrict the opponents well short of the target.
With this victory, Coorg Public School was crowned the champions of the CISCE Zonal Level Cricket Tournament 2025.
