Following the death of a farmer in a wild elephant attack in Dabbadka, Chembu village, the Forest Department has intensified its efforts to locate the animal responsible.
Virajpet MLA A.S. Ponnanna informed the media that the state government has verbally granted permission for the elephant’s capture and that the official approval letter is expected shortly.
