A tragic accident occurred near Anekad on the Madikeri-Kushalnagar stretch of NH-275, where a head-on collision between a car and a two-wheeler claimed the life of Karthik Bhat (30). Karthik, a resident of Peruvaje, Sullia, and an employee of Infosys, died on the spot.
The car’s occupants also sustained injuries and are being treated at Kushalnagar Government Hospital. The impact was so severe that both vehicles were thrown into the roadside forest. Kushalnagar Traffic Police have registered a case and further investigation.
