Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor and Virajpet MLA A.S. Ponnanna chaired a special meeting with senior officials of the Forest Department at the Taluk Office Hall in Virajpet. Discussions focused on the ongoing human-animal conflict in the constituency and the government’s development activities on the forest fringes. MLA Ponnanna gave specific instructions to the officials regarding these issues
Present at the meeting were State Wildlife Board member Sanket Poovaiah, Deputy Commissioner Venkataraj, Zilla Panchayat CEO Anand Prakash Meena, constituency Tahsildars, Chairman of the District Guarantee Implementation Authority Dharmaja Uthappa, senior forest officials, zonal forest officers, and staff.
