Virajpet MLA Addresses Attur Kolli Hadi Residents’ Forest Land Concerns

Virajpet MLA A.S. Ponnanna met residents of Attur Kolli Hadi in Ponnampet Taluk to address their concerns about land rights. The residents expressed fears of eviction due to ongoing forest department proceedings. The MLA assured the residents that no final decision had been made and instructed the Forest Department to maintain status quo until a resolution is found. He urged the residents to refrain from new construction on contested land and to be vigilant about unauthorized entry.

State Wildlife Board member Sanket Poovaiah, K. Badaga Gram Panchayat President Ritish, Ponnampet Block Congress President Miderira Naveen, Taluk Tahsildar Mohan, Taluk Guarantee Implementation Committee President Kalimada Prashanth, Zonal Congress Presidents Chimmanamada Ravi, Katti Cariappa, PalvinPoonacha, Ajjikuttir Girish, departmental staff, and Hadi leaders were present.
