During the Wildlife Week, we celebrated our incredible wildlife and the rich biodiversity of the natural world.

In Maharashtra’s Nashik district, within the Western Ghats, the Raah Foundation is conserving and restoring 6,700 acres of common lands across 32 villages. Every photograph and video featured here has been captured at our conservation sites, offering a glimpse of the remarkable biodiversity these landscapes sustain and the wildlife returning as ecosystems recover.

This inspiring rewilding effort has been made possible by the extraordinary teamwork of 100 passionate young people from the region, united by a shared commitment to protecting, restoring and preserving their natural heritage for generations to come.
