Coffee Board Announces Scientific and Technical Job Vacancies

The Coffee Board of India, operating under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, has issued a vacancy notification inviting online applications for direct recruitment to positions in its Scientific and Technical cadres.

The Board, headquartered in Bengaluru, released Notification No. ADM/EB.I(R)DIR.RECTT./2025-26/228 dated June 6, 2025, outlining that Indian citizens are eligible to apply for various posts across multiple categories. The details of the vacancies—such as the name of the post, number of positions, pay scale, and reservation category—as well as eligibility criteria, selection procedure, and general instructions, are available on the Coffee Board’s official website: https://coffeeboard.gov.in.

The online application portal will go live on the afternoon of June 9, 2025, and the deadline for submission of applications is July 9, 2025.

Interested candidates are required to apply only through online mode. The Board has urged applicants to carefully read all instructions and follow the prescribed steps while submitting their applications to avoid any errors.

  1. There was a time in Kodagu where most Teachers, Nurses, Government jobs, Foresters, Plantation Managers and Supervisors, Bus Owners, Bank employees and so on were from Kodagu (in addition to the disproportionate soldiers that served the Nation compared to our size).

    It is time we youngsters revived this past practice of ours where staying on the estate and having a job in Kodagu, made a lot of economic and common sense!!
