CISCE hockey event…KALS team wins

In the recently held CISCE zonal level under 14 hockey tournament by the Vidyashilpa Academy, Bengaluru, the students of  Karaumbiah’s Academy of Learning and Sport (KALS), Gonikoppa have emerged as champions.

In the final match the KALS team defeated Vidyashilpa team by 2-0. Samridh Chedanda and Daivik Ponnanna secured a goal each. The six players of the team will represent Karnataka in the National-Level Hockey Tournament to be held in Bhubaneshwar in Odisha.

In the under-19 category, the KALS teams stood as the runners-up. Six players in the team have found place in the state team, stated a press release.
