Every year on July 28, the world observes World Nature Conservation Day. As there is a saying “Don’t judge each day by the Harvest you reap but the seeds that you plant”. Too often we only focus on the price of coffee or the lack of workers to cultivate paddy fields. We have as much responsibility to retain the water table and forests that we have inherited for future generations and not let greed overtake our responsibilities of conserving and regreening our precious landscape. The Earth sustains us and we must not cause any harm to it but preserve it for our future generations.
