The car driver identified as MM Razak (35) who had caused an accident on the state highway 91 at Hebbale recently leading to the death of a pedestrian has been arrested by the Kodagu police.
Razak had knocked down Felix D’Souza, who later succumbed to injuries. After the accident the driver had fled from the spot. A police team was constituted to trace the driver under the guidance of SomwarpetDySP RV Gangadarappa. The police have asked the public to share photo or video of rash and negligent driving by motorists and inform by dialling 112. The informers’ details will not be revealed, police sources said
