CM should resign in Valmiki Corp scam…BJP

Former MLA’s KG Bopaiah (KGB) and M P Appachu Ranjan urged Chief Minister (CM) Siddaramaiah to step down over the alleged, scam on Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribe Development Corporation Ltd.

KGB Speaking during a protest conducted by the BJP’s ST morcha in front of the DC’s office accused the state government of deliberately delaying the investigation of the alleged scam in the corporation.

KGB further said that in an attempt to bury the issue, only the officials are made responsible and pointed out that the officials themselves are seeking protection, showing the state of law and order in the state.

Appachu Ranjan also spoke on the occasion alleged that the money of poor Dalits is misused and demanded a high-level probe into the same.

BJP ST morcha district president M M Parameshwar urged the governor to intervene in the matter.

Later, a memorandum was submitted to the Governor through the deputy commissioner.
