M A Poovaiah triumphs
Captains Putter golf tournament was recently held at the Coorg Golf Links (CGL), Bittangala. Around 71 golfers participated in this event conducted over two days. M A Poovaiah won the coveted open stroke play event played over two days with a gross score of 154.
Nikhil Nanjappa was declared the runner up with a gross score of 157.

Prize distribution ceremony was held at the club house of CGL. Captain of CGL Bharath Mandanna, Hon Secretary of the club Maj B A Nanjappa and Tournament Committee Chairman Lt Col Bharat Chevur were present on the dais. Bharath Mandanna welcomed the gathering. Lt Col Bharat Chevur announced the names of the winners. Bharath Mandanna gave away the prizes. Maj B A Nanjappa proposed the vote of thanks.
