Representatives of the Kodagu District Unaided Schools Management Association met A.S. Ponnanna, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister and Virajpet MLA, at his office in Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru. They also met Rashmi Mahesh, Principal Secretary of the Education Department.
During the meeting, various important issues related to the education sector and the challenges faced by unaided schools in Kodagu were discussed. Special emphasis was placed on matters such as school renewals and reimbursement under the Right to Education (RTE) scheme.   Principal Secretary Rashmi Mahesh assured the delegation that issues related to renewals and RTE reimbursements would be resolved at the earliest.
The meeting was attended by Association President Kotrangada Thimmaiah and committee members Madanda Thimmaiah, Mallangada Niran Uthappa, and Sachin Vasudev. The Association expressed its gratitude to A.S. Ponnanna and Rashmi Mahesh for listening to the concerns of school managements and responding positively to their issues.
