Kodagu Vidyalaya NCC cadet, Golden Sergeant Jeshta Subbaiah M.H., has been selected to participate in the prestigious All India Thal Sainik Camp. The camp will be held in New Delhi from August 31 to September 11, 2026.
Only three cadets from the Karnataka and Goa Directorate have been selected in the Firing (Grouping) category, with Jeshta Subbaiah being one of them.
Jeshta Subbaiah participated in seven selection camps held at various locations across Karnataka and earned his place at the prestigious camp by achieving a grouping of 1.2 cm in the grouping shooting competition, according to Kodagu Vidyalaya Principal Sumitra.
Jeshta Subbaiah is a resident of Maragodu and the son of Harish and Vima. He is a cadet of the 19 Karnataka Battalion NCC.
