A scooter rider had a narrow escape after a tree fell on him while he was travelling through Betoli village in VirajpetHobli on Sunday.
The injured rider, identified as Sindhu, a resident of Betoli village, sustained injuries in the incident. He was administered first aid at Virajpet Government Hospital before being referred to the Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) District Hospital in Madikeri for further treatment.
The incident occurred when the tree suddenly collapsed onto the road while he was riding his scooter. Fortunately, he escaped with injuries and is reported to be receiving medical treatment.
