In a bid to mitigate water scarcity during the summer, MLA and Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor Ajjikuttira S. Ponnanna has arranged an emergency water supply system at his personal expense of 28 lakh for the benefit of residents in Virajpet block.
Launching the tanker vehicle at his office, the MLA said the initiative aims to address the acute water shortage caused by intense summer conditions.
He urged the public to use water judiciously and emphasised the importance of conservation for future generations.
