The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department has clarified that there is no shortage of Auto LPG in Karnataka and that supply remains uninterrupted across all regions.
According to an official statement, 72 Auto LPG Dispensing Stations (ALDS) are operational in the state, including 31 in Bengaluru. Supply is being maintained by public sector oil companies-IOCL, BPCL and HPCL-at a current rate of Rs. 77.74 per litre.
The state recorded an average daily supply of 64.9 metric tonnes of Auto LPG over the past week, compared to 57.6 metric tonnes earlier, indicating a rise in availability.
Additionally, around four lakh domestic LPG cylinders and 18,000 commercial cylinders are being distributed daily. The government stated that it is closely monitoring the situation to ensure continued supply.
