The Kodagu Zilla Panchayat on Monday inaugurated a district-level exhibition and sales fair at Gandhi Maidan, aimed at promoting products manufactured by women entrepreneurs of Sanjeevini Self-Help Groups under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM).
The initiative seeks to enhance the social and economic empowerment of rural women by providing them a platform to showcase and market their products.
MLA Dr. Mantar Gowda, Karnataka Sports Authority Vice-Chairman C.S. Arun Machiah, City Council President P. Kalavathi, District Collector S.J. Somashekhar, G.P. CEO Anand Prakash Meena, Superintendent of Police Bindu Mani R.N., Additional Deputy Commissioner R. Aishwarya, and other officials were present.
