The Youth Empowerment and Sports Department has announced the selection trials for admission to the Junior Sports Hostel (Class 5) for the year 2026-27 in Athletics and Hockey.
Selections will be held on February 5 at General Thimmaiah District Stadium, Madikeri;
February 6 at Kudige Government Sports School for Somwarpet and Kushalnagar taluks; February 7 at Ponnampet Mini Stadium for Virajpet and Ponnampet taluks.
Registrations will be accepted at the venues by 9 am. For details, Athletics Coach Mahabala (9980887499) and Hockey Coach Bindya (9481058092) may be contacted, said Assistant Director V.T. Vismay.
