Violence against Women and Children: SP directs immediate action

District Superintendent of Police R.N. Bindumani has instructed officials to take prompt and appropriate action in cases related to violence against women and children.

The SP visited the Madikeri Women’s Police Station, inspected its functioning, and held a meeting with officers and staff, during which he reviewed cases pertaining to crimes against women and children and stressed the need for swift action.

She  also visited the Madikeri Crime Police Station, where he instructed officials to closely monitor cybercrime cases and give priority to maintaining law and order.  Later, the SP inspected the Bhagamandala Police Station and held discussions with officers and staff regarding law and order, crime prevention, and monitoring of illegal activities in the station limits.

On the same day, She also visited the Talacauvery Police Sub-Station and inspected its functioning.

Superintendent of Police R.N. Bindumani further visited the district jail at Karnangeri in Madikeri and the Sampaje Police Sub-Station, located on the district border. SHe inspected the border check post and reviewed security arrangements, issuing necessary instructions to the staff to ensure strict maintenance of law and order.
