Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies H.D. Ravikumar has announced that registration and renewal of memberships under the Yashaswini Health Scheme for 2025-26 has commenced in Kodagu district and will remain open until March 31.
Members of cooperative societies, cooperative banks, in the district are eligible to enroll under the scheme.
Required documents include the application form, ration card, Aadhaar card, and two photographs of each family member. For rural cooperative societies, the contribution is Rs.500 for a family of up to four members and Rs.100 for each additional member.
For urban cooperative societies, the contribution is Rs.1,000 for up to four members and Rs.200 for each additional member. The scheme is free for SC/ST members upon submission of a valid caste certificate.
 Registered families are eligible for treatment in network hospitals up to Rs.5 lakh per year.
