Rotary District Governor P.K. Ramakrishna paid an official visit to Rotary Madikeri, during which scholarships were distributed to students and senior Rotarians were honoured.

Addressing a gathering at the Rotary Hall, Ramakrishna called upon Rotarians to actively engage in social service and inspire others. He highlighted Rotary’s contributions in areas such as polio eradication, blood collection units and skin grafting services.
Assistant Governor Dilan Changappa spoke on expanding Rotary’s social initiatives. Senior Rotarians Dr. Manohar G. Patkar and Ananthsubba Rao, with over 50 years of service, were honoured. Scholarships worth Rs. 40,000 were distributed to students of government high schools and PUC colleges in Madikeri.

Rotary Madikeri President Lalitha Raghavan, Secretary B.M. Somanna, Zonal Lieutenant K.C. Cariappa and members were present.
