The prestigious Kodagina Gouramma Datti Award of the Kodagu District Kannada Sahitya Parishad has been conferred on noted writer Mrs. Poojari Krupa Devaraj for the year 2025-26 for her work “Mantra Pushpa – Canvas of Stories”.
Instituted by B.G. Vasantha in memory of his mother Gowramma, the award recognises outstanding literary contributions by women writers of Kodagu.Â
This is the 23rd edition of the award, for which 10 writers had submitted their works. The selection was made by a panel of three senior writers, based on scores finalised by the Parishad office-bearers, said Parishad President M.P. Keshav Kamath.
Krupa Devaraj, a writer and poet of repute, has authored several works including poetry, short stories and essays, and is also a recipient of the state-level Ajura Award.
