Physical education teachers, wardens and staff members also took part in the session.
Addressing the gathering, the Residential Manager, Somaiah, highlighted the significance of National Youth Day and encouraged students to adopt healthy habits and uphold positive values in their daily lives.

As part of the observance, 102 students of Class VIII participated in a programme organised by the Ramakrishna Ashram, which featured a procession and insightful speeches reflecting the teachings and ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
In the evening boarding assembly, the Principal, Ramachandran, addressed the students and spoke on the theme “Ignite the Self and Impact the World.” He stressed that the nation’s future is shaped not merely by policies, but by the energy, innovation and commitment of its youth.
The celebration served as a source of inspiration, reinforcing the values of self-belief, discipline and social responsibility among the students.
