The Southern Province Conference of the All India Students’ Council of ABVP was recently held in Madikeri. On the second day of the conference, a grand procession of conference delegates was taken out through the main streets of Madikeri.
The procession, led by ABVP Southern Province President Dr. Ravi Mandya and Conference Reception Committee President M. Eshwar Bhat, commenced from the Gowda Samaj Conference Hall.Conference representatives and office bearers marched in a disciplined manner through the town.
A highlight of the procession was the paying of floral tributes at the circles named after Squadron Leader Ajjamada Devaiah, Major Mangerira Muthanna and General Thimmaiah, honouring the valour of Indian Army officers.
ABVP Southern Province Secretary Gopi Aravind, National Executive Committee member Mandhara, Reception Committee General Secretary Ramesh Holla and several other prominent personalities participated in the procession.
