At a programme held at the Virajpet MLA’s Home Office, Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor and MLA Ajjikuttira S. Ponnanna distributed certificates for free borewell facilities provided by the government to eligible Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries from various villages in Virajpet and Ponnampet taluks. The facility was extended through the Minor Irrigation Department. The MLA stated that the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to inclusive development and uplifting marginalised communities.
Ponnampet Block President Meederira Naveen, ThenniraMaina, Zone President Naveen, KDP member Prashanth, department officials, and local leaders were present.
