Madikeri-Abhyathangala Road to Be Developed at a Cost of Rs 13 Crore

MLA Dr. Mantar Gowda performed the groundbreaking ceremony for development works at Abhyath Mangala Ontiyangadi recently.

He said Rs 1 crore has been sanctioned for widening the bridge on State Highway 91 and constructing a retaining wall. Another Rs 1 crore has been sanctioned for widening the Ontiyangadi-Siddapura, Ontiyangadi-Chettalli and Ontiyangadi-Kushalnagar roads.

He added that the Madikeri-Abhyath Mangala Road will be developed at a cost of Rs 13 crore, and the Nellihudikeri-Abhyathmangala Road at a cost of Rs 3 crore.

Taluk Guarantee Scheme Implementation Committee President V. P. Shashidhar said works worth Rs 3 crore will be taken up in each gram panchayat over five years.
