Veteran Sportsperson and Former Kodava Samaja President Nayada Vasu Nanjappa Passes Away at 99

Veteran sportsperson and former president of the Virajpet Kodava Samaja, Nayada Vasu Nanjappa (99), a resident of Chikpet and founder and president of the Virajpet Field Marshal Cariappa Hockey Trust, passed away today.

His mortal remains have been kept at his residence in Chikpet. The last rites will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Virajpet Kodava Samaja crematorium, as per the information provided.
