A Tusker was found dead in a coffee estate in the Mayamudi Gram Panchayat limits on Tuesday, marking the second elephant death in the district this month. It has been reported that the male elephant died due to electrocution.
Earlier, a female elephant was found dead in a coffee estate. The back-to-back incidents have raised concerns among local residents and wildlife conservationists.
