K. Devamma Promoted as Inspector in Rapid Action Force

K. Devamma, a native of Kodagu district, has been promoted to the rank of Inspector in the Rapid Action Force (RAF) under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

Devamma joined the Rapid Action Force in 1992 and has served in various capacities over the years. She was most recently posted at the RAF Headquarters in Hyderabad. She is presently serving in Moreh, Manipur, near the India-Myanmar border, as part of her official duties.

Devamma is the daughter of Paikera Medappa and Nanjamma of Katakeri village in Madikeri taluk, and she is the wife of Kuttamaniyana Mohan.

Her promotion has been welcomed by relatives, friends and well-wishers in Kodagu.
