Rashmi Praveen was installed as the 51st President of the Inner Wheel Club of Madikeri, while Mainalini Chinnappa assumed office as the Honorary Secretary for the new administrative year.
The installation ceremony was held at the Rotary Hall in Madikeri, where Dr. Jayalakshmi Patkar, Founder President of the Inner Wheel Club, administered the oath of office to the newly elected office-bearers and members of the Board of Directors.
Inner Wheel District Committee Director Divya Muthanna, Immediate Past President Lalitha Raghavan and Immediate Past Secretary Namitha Rai were present on the dais.
As part of the club’s community service initiatives, financial assistance of Rs. 5,000 was extended to C.K. Nandish Kumar towards medical treatment, while Rs. 5,000 was presented to B.U. Hitashree as educational assistance.
On the occasion, Rotary Club of Madikeri President Manohar Kamath released Girishinga, the official newsletter of the Inner Wheel Club.
Vijayalakshmi Chethan and Dechu Shyam addressed the gathering, while Renuka Sudhakar proposed the vote of thanks.
Treasurer Dr. Shubha Rajesh, Nisha Mohan, Agnes Muthanna and Taipti Kamath conducted the proceedings of the programme.
