Bengaluru: Jayanagar Kodava Sangha (JKS) is all set to host the 2nd Edition of Okkoota 2026, its annual 5-A-Side Rink Hockey Tournament, on 31st October and 1st November 2026 in Bengaluru.
Since its formation in 2018, the JKS Sports Committee has been organising a range of sporting events and training the children. The initiative aims to promote sportsmanship, identify and nurture young talent, and foster greater community participation and togetherness.
The tournament will feature two major events:
31st October 2026: Open 5-a-Side Rink Hockey Tournament for boys and girls aged 8 to 13 years.
1st November 2026: For Kodava Adults.
The tournament is expected to attract talented players, enthusiastic spectators, and members of the Kodava community from Bengaluru and beyond.
Jayanagar Kodava Sangha has invited individuals, businesses, and organisations to partner with the tournament as team owners and sponsors. Sponsors will receive extensive visibility through tournament branding, promotional activities, and digital media while supporting the development of sports within the community.

The tournament is being organised by the Jayanagar Kodava Sangha Sports Committee with the support of the Sangha’s Managing Committee and a dedicated team of volunteers. Kodavas are invited to participate in the tournament or attend the event to cheer on the players.
