Four-Page Death Note Recovered
Karthamada Thimmaiah (52), a Sub-Tehsildar and native of Thuchamakeri in Gonikoppal, was found dead after allegedly hanging himself in a lodge located on B.M. Road in Hassan city. The incident reportedly occurred on Saturday night.
Thimmaiah was serving as a Sub-Tehsildar in Saligrama, Mysuru district. He had previously served in Hassan district approximately three years ago.
According to police sources, a four-page death note was recovered from the scene. Preliminary investigations indicate that he took the extreme step after writing the note. Thimmaiah was residing with his family in Dyavamma Layout in Hassan city.
A case has been registered within the jurisdiction of the concerned police station, and further investigation is underway.
