Tarun Cariappa, a student of Nalanda School, Kushalnagar, has become the first Kodava to represent India in Thailand at the Rotax Max Challenge in the Senior Max Category.

Tarun began karting in 2024 and has shown strong passion for speed, racing, and motorsports. His participation on an international platform is a proud moment for his family, school, Kushalnagar, and the Kodagu community.

Competing in the Senior Max Category requires focus, fitness, technical understanding, and race craft. Tarun’s journey reflects his dedication to learning and growing in the sport.

His achievement is expected to inspire more young motorsport enthusiasts from Kodagu and Karnataka to pursue racing with confidence and determination.
