MLA and Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor A.S. Ponnannaemphasised the importance of sportsmanship, stating that individuals must accept both victory and defeat with equal grace.
He was speaking at a two-day sports meet organised by the Health and Family Welfare Department for its staff.
Highlighting Kodagu’s strong sporting culture, he noted that the district has produced a significant number of athletes. He encouraged youth to pursue sports alongside academics for overall development.
Ponnanna also stressed the importance of mental and physical health, urging greater participation in sports activities.
