US Consulate Officials Visit to COPS

Christopher T. Pieper, Vice Consul of the U.S. Department of State, Chennai, along with Mini Kattukulangara, Consular Investigator, paid an official visit to Coorg Public School and Pre-University College (COPS) recently.

During their visit, the officials interacted with the President of the School Trust, Dhanya Subbaiah, as well as the Principal and staff members of the institution. They discussed and gathered information regarding students and teachers traveling to NASA and other educational institutions in the United States during the upcoming summer holidays.

The visiting officials also reviewed details about COPS, including its achievements, cultural exchange programs and initiatives in guiding students toward higher education opportunities abroad.

Arun, Managing Director of Edufun, a Bangalore-based travel organization, was also present and engaged in discussions with the officials.

To commemorate the occasion, the school management organized a ceremonial planting of a neem sapling within the school premises.
