In the fertile land of Kodagu,
In a home filled with discipline and value,
A child was born
A child who would grow to serve the nation.

From a young age, he learned courage,
Strength was nurtured in his character,
Like a plant growing steadily from the soil,
He rose with determination and purpose.

Among hills, rivers and nature,
His mind became strong and fearless,
The environment shaped his thoughts,
Instilling in him love for the motherland.

He was taught respect, duty, and honour
Qualities that became his foundation
Through simple living and firm guidance
His path towards greatness was land.

Even as a boy discipline guided him,
His actions reflected responsibility
Step by step, he prepared himself
For a life of service and sacrifice.

At the end of everything
What remains is not wealth or fame
But the good we have done,
And the love we have shared.

At the time when the country’s dignity and honour were under threat,
When peace itself seemed shaken,
When courage and patriotism stood as the nation’s shield
That was when he rose like a lion.

In such troubled times, who would stand firm and protect the nation’s honour?
With a calm mind and unwavering resolve,
He stepped forward bravely
Even when circumstances were harsh,
He never host courage
With discipline and determination
He carried out his duties.

He worked not for personal gain,
But for the country and its people
His life was a model of sacrifice and service.

He became a symbol of strength and integrity
And inspiration to generations.
Even today, his name shines brightly
A guiding light for the youth
A true son of the soil,
A fearless soldier
A great leader – his story will remain immortal.

Thus, from the soil of Kodagu,
Grew a leader of courage and integrity Gen Thimmaiah – A true son of the nation.
