Summer Training Camp at General Thimmaiah Stadium from April 7

A 21-day summer training camp will be held at the General Thimmaiah District Stadium from April 7 to April 30 (excluding holidays), under the guidance of trained coaches.

The camp will cover swimming, shuttle badminton, table tennis (for ages 7-18), athletics, and hockey (for ages 10-18).

Training timings are as follows:

  • Swimming: 9:30 am to 11:30 am and 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
  • Shuttle badminton: 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
  • Table tennis: 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
  • Athletics and hockey: 7:00 am to 8:00 am

The fee is Rs 3,000 for swimming and shuttle badminton, and Rs 2,000 for table tennis, athletics, and hockey.

For details, interested participants may contact the respective coaches or the office during working hours, said V.T. Vismay, Assistant Director, Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports.
